These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Kindling mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service") operated by Vorisek Labs ("we," "our," or "us"). By downloading, installing, or using Kindling you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Kindling. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.
You must create an account to access most features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access. We are not liable for any loss caused by unauthorized use of your account.
New accounts receive a 7-day full trial with access to all Pro features. No payment method is required to start the trial. At the end of the trial period, the account automatically reverts to the free tier unless a Pro subscription is purchased.
Free tier. Kindling offers a free tier with limited features. No payment is required.
Pro plan. Kindling Pro is available as a monthly ($3.99/month) or annual ($24.99/year) subscription. Prices are displayed in the app in USD.
Billing. Subscriptions are billed through Google Play (Android) or the Apple App Store (iOS). Your payment method is charged at the start of each billing period. Annual subscriptions are billed as a single charge once per year.
Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time through Google Play or the App Store. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial subscription periods except where required by law or app store policy.
Price changes. We may change subscription prices with reasonable notice. Continued use of a paid plan after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price.

You retain ownership of all content you enter into Kindling — task titles, notes, routine steps, and other data. By using the Service you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, and transmit that content solely as needed to provide the Service to you.
You are solely responsible for the content you enter. You represent that you have all rights necessary to grant this license and that your content does not violate any law or third-party rights.
The "Help me start" feature uses Anthropic's Claude API to break tasks into steps. AI-generated step lists are provided as suggestions only. They may be incomplete or inaccurate. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated content and are not liable for any outcome resulting from following AI-generated steps.
Kindling integrates with third-party services including Anthropic (Claude AI), Google AdMob, Supabase, Cloudflare, and RevenueCat. Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the actions or content of third-party services.
Kindling, the Kindling name and logo, and all original content, features, and functionality of the Service are owned by Vorisek Labs and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not use our trademarks or branding without prior written permission.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. KINDLING IS A PRODUCTIVITY AID — IT IS NOT A MEDICAL DEVICE AND IS NOT INTENDED TO DIAGNOSE, TREAT, CURE, OR PREVENT ANY CONDITION INCLUDING ADHD.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VORISEK LABS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES — INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, DATA LOSS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION — ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) $50 USD.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Vorisek Labs, its officers, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms or if your continued use poses a risk to us, other users, or third parties. You may delete your account at any time from Settings.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 6, 10, 11, 12, and 14 survive termination.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
Before initiating any formal dispute, you agree to contact us at [email protected] and give us 30 days to resolve the issue informally.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. If changes are material, we will notify you via email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
